Get away from it all...at any time of the year!
Available as self catering holiday accommodation again after 10 years of being our family home, this cottage - completely refurbished during the winter of 2013/14 - was used as 'Gracie's House' in the 1988 film 'When the Whales Came'. Glenhope is a well equipped, comfortable, traditional Scillonian granite cottage sleeping up to 4 guests in one double room and one twin room.
The front porch leads into a bright living-dining room furnished with a large leather sofa and armchair, LCD TV with full Sky package (Sports and Movies), blu-ray/CD player and coffee tables, complete with books and magazines, puzzles and games. There is also a cosy reading nook in the original 19th Century (or possibly older!) fireplace.
Also downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with American style fridge-freezer, built in dishwasher, built in single oven, ceramic hob and microwave; and a fully tiled bathroom with shower over the bath. There is also a full size washing machine and tumble dryer.
The double bedroom and twin bedroom upstairs both enjoy sea views across Great Porth beach towards Heathy Hill and Samson Hill.
