Glenhope Cottage

Glenhope was our much loved family home for about 10 years, before we refurbished it as self catering accommodation during the winter of 2013/14. The cottage was used as 'Gracie's House' in the 1988 film 'When the Whales Came'. Glenhope is a well equipped, comfortable, traditional Scillonian granite cottage sleeping up to 4 guests in one double room and one twin room.

The front porch leads into a bright living-dining room furnished with a large leather sofa and armchair, Smart TV with full Sky package (Sports and Movies), blu-ray/CD player and coffee tables, complete with books and magazines, puzzles and games. There is also a cosy reading nook in the original 19th Century (or possibly older!) fireplace.

Also downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen with American style fridge-freezer, built in dishwasher, built in single oven, ceramic hob and microwave; and a fully tiled bathroom with shower over the bath. There is also a full size washing machine and tumble dryer.

The double bedroom and twin bedroom upstairs both enjoy sea views across Great Porth beach towards Heathy Hill and Samson Hill.

Vacancies for 2023 are updated regularly.
